The ‘Andrew Humphrey challenge’ to achieve the highest position on a google search for “Andrew Humphrey” in Australia before Christmas 2005 was a moderate success. I had 9 days to reach the target but I was only able to achieve a result in 14 days. I believe a faster result could have been achieved by actually having this blog post as the first one on my homepage for the whole period - but to do so would have compromised the integrity of the blog, and I would have considered it cheating.
